I N T R O D U C T I O N

Our engineering client has been manufacturing shotshell reloaders under the current brand since 1955. They used the data transformation capabilities of Matillion combined with the superior visualizations of Power BI to create dashboards to measure efficiency, delivery, margins, and safety data of their products. External data sources for payroll and plant safety data loaded directly to Azure BLOB storage using Power Automate.

Pomerol Partners built a clear and concise set of dashboard visualizations to help our engineering client better understand current position and profitability. The Power BI dashboards were supported by Matillion and its inherit ability to move, clean, transform, and provision the data needed for accurate reporting. External data sources from ADP and plant safety providers were integrated loaded to Azure BLOB storage using Microsoft Power
Automate. Power Automate was also used to convert legacy files to usable formats. The data was then transformed and provisioned to Snowflake by Matillion.
